Rossi skincare: Cleansing Rice Bran Oil review*

Do you feel spring coming? I do! My winter clothes are almost stored away, my mind is inventoring my wardrobe and packing for Italy: did I tell you I am going to Cosmoprof Bologna this year? I am so excited! And I am slowly going through my collection to review the products that have been undeservably forgotten. My work also lets me know, that we are approaching high season, and sometimes after 100+ calls a day I can't function in any language once I get home, yet alone even turn the computer on, so if my blogging is sparatic and all over the place, I do apologize.

Anyhow, ever since I got into Asian beauty regimen, I was really curious to try out cleansing oils, but besides an occasional sample or two, I actually never got around to give them a long enough trial run. However, once I saw that my beloved brand, Rossi Uvema, has come out with their version, I knew in an instant, I had to get my hands on it. And as with most of their products, I am in love.

I have to admit, it can be intimidating at first, who's natural instinct is to put an oil on their faces, after all? So I have had it laying around on my bathroom shelf for much longer than I would like to confess to, but once I bit the bullet, I was in for a treat.

Let me just start with saying, that when Rossi brand says natural, they do mean natural, and there is no green brain washing involved. The ingredients used to create the product are pure, high quality oils, no synthetic additives, and ingredients are all there, black in white, understable to absolutely anyone, even if you aren't educated on toxic ingredients. Secondly, if you are prone to allergies, this oil contains no essential oils, and you are less likely to get a reaction. Thirdly, can we just appreciate the packaging? It is sleek, but bold, giving the luxurious feel to the product and definitely standing out on your bathroom shelves.

When it comes to the product itself, is very liquid, but not runny consistency, it has a slight natural oils scent, which doesn't bother your nose, and is really gentle on your face. I use it on a dry face, and knowing my hatred for cotton pads, I just spray it into my fingertips, massage all over the face, even my eyelids – yes, it does remove makeup perfectly, and then wipe it off with a warm damp muslim cloth. I find that it cleans my skin really well, without drying it out. Although the product is an oil, strangely, it doesn't leave a greasy residue, rather just a very clean and hydrated skin. You know that terrifying feeling after you go in with a toner on a cotton pad to only realize, that half of your makeup is still on your face? It won't happen with this oil, since it melts all makeup together with all the impurities away!

I don't know why, but I have noticed, that my skin freaks out on trips and once there is weather change, so this gentle cleansing oil is a perfect solution when I don't want to madden my skin any further. I don't about you, but in my travel bag it goes, and it will be my pleasure to spoil my skin on the trip. To sum up, if you want a really luxurious product, which works, at a decent price, do check it out!
