I don't know about you, but this heat (30plus celsius) is driving me crazy and melting my brain. I have slept exactly for an hour this night, and that was it. It resulted in me clearing out my bookshelf, organizing my magazines, preparing space for my Alex drawers (yes, I have become that kind of a blogger) and apparently painting my nails at five a.m, since my previous varnish has chipped and peeled off horribly.
For this Sunday Specials I had planned to write about Zepter eyecream and due to my beloved pre scheduling, it went live early morning, but according to my metrics, nobody saw it, and if you did, I am terribly sorry and can we please pretend that didn't happen?
However, since my brain are barely functioning due to heat and the lack of sleep, I have decided to keep this post short and sweet. I have decided to make a short break from gel polish, simply because my nails are getting weaker and break off more easily. I went to salon to remove it and get my nails painted with the varnish I brought with me, but I might have been a little bit too rough yesterday clearing stuff out, that it chipped and peeled off horribly. And apparently, when you can't sleep it is a good idea to paint your nails. Or so I thought.
For some reason, I am obsessed with yellow nail polish, every time I go to a new salon, I always check whether they have green and yellow shades. Usually they don't, so I really didn't doubt too much before picking up Flormar Neon colors in N006 out of my collection. I was honestly impressed with the quality, it went opaque in two coats, it didn't streak and is just as bright as in the bottle. It doesn't even matter if your hands are shaking, it somehow goes on smooth and even. I am a newbie in taking photos of my painted nails as well as actually properly painting them, so any advice is welcome. However, the result made me wanna pick up more of Flormar nail polishes, and I even intended to do so, until in front of the store door I realized it is Sunday today, and it is closed.. Oh well. Also please forgive the pillow smudge on one of the fingers, I felt asleep shortly after.
Do you really think I could just leave this yellow on its own? Nope, I needed a cherry on the cake, therefore I used China Glaze Snow Globe instead of top coat, partially because I was hoping for some pop, partially because I couldn't find any other top coats.
What do you think? Do you like it? What's on your nails? Would you like to see my nail manicure more often? Don't hesitate to let me know in the comments down bellow.
