Look Fantastic Beauty Box, November 2014

I wonder, do many of my readers tend to lean towards natural beauty products? Do you try to be "clean" in your skincare routine? Do you manage to follow through? Even though it hurts me to admit so, I am a huge beauty junkie. I find it is easier with skincare products, since the choice is wider, and you can really find effective and affordable products. With the makeup, I find, it is rather difficult, but let's leave that discussion for the next time.

I did notice, that since I started learning about natural products, I find it easier to leave drugstores empty handed, and branch out to the wide world of the web: most of companies has their own online shops, they deliver to almost every country and in most cases, shipping is rather reasonable. However, I am still addicted to few things, and I can let it slip once in a while, one of them being Memeboxes, and another one Look Fantastic Beauty Box.

Even though this is my second one I got, I find it difficult to skip on it. They release boxes 1st of every month and it takes 2 to 3 weeks to arrive to my country. However, they do come out with the pre-order option about in the middle of the month, and if you lucky, you can just grab that. I should probably shamefully admit, that I have missed out the pre-order for November, and I might have or might have not been sitting there from an early morning and kept refreshing until boxes went to sale..

My fellow beauty addicts would probably agree with me, that all of our hearts are filled with envy while reading blogs from other countries, reading an awesome review on one or another product and realizing you can't get it. Not living in UK limits me to trying quite a few popular brands everyone raves about, and I see Look Fantastic Beauty Box as the perfect opportunity to do so.

I was surprised, but not in anyway disappointed to see some brands I have never heard off, but it might just be due to my pure ignorance. But let's start with the brands I do know. I have always wanted to try Glamglow mask, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on it despite the five stars reviews all over the internet, but now when I have it, I will with no doubt be giving it a try!

Next in the box, is the Eve Lom cleanser, which I believe at some point was described by "Vogue" as "possibly the best cleanser in the world". I do believe there were quite a lot of praises on YouTube around its time, however, the first ingredient in the cleanser is a mineral oil, so I think I will pass it on a friend. I do realize it is a known brand, and what products to use in our personal choices, and I would rather skip using that. I hear it smells divine, but what would I know having a stuffed runny nose.

Then we have Nuxe Nuxellence Jeunese Youth and Radiance Moisturizer. I have always associated Nuxe with a luxury brands, so I wasn't disappointed to find this in the box, or though I am pretty certain I have something similar somewhere in my stash. However, this is a decent sample size, and I tend to switch moisturizers around quite often, so this will be tested out as well.

It might just be me, but LF has smartly included a hand cream in their box as well. I don't know about you, but if I can neglect hand creams during summer, it gets inevitable during winter times. Not only that, but being 30ml it is the perfect size to fit in your handbag. I have never heard of this brand before, so I will make sure to give this cream a go.

And lastly, but not leastly, yet another brand I never heard off. Have I been living under the rocks? Not quite sure. Again, I feel like they are hitting the spot with Monu Recovery Balm, because from the description it sounds like a perfect product for a wintry time. I look forward to trying that!

Okay, I just lied again. I totally forgot one item. It seems like quite a few people were disappointed to find only skincare items in the previous boxes. Cudos for Look Fantastic team listening to their customers, and including a makeup item. It is a lip crayon, and for some reason, this is my favorite form of lipglosses. Yet again I have never heard of this brand, but I feel like the color chosen was pretty neutral and I can't wait to try it!

What do you think? Are you tempted to give this a go? What do you think would be in the December box? Would it be Christmas themed? Have a wonderful Monday!
