Look Fantastic Beauty Box, October

Yes, I have done it again, I have totally given in and bought the Look Fantastic Beauty Box. Yes, I know, I know, it is not natural product I am writing about again, but the curiosity and the opportunity to try out high street level products won over. Getting Memeboxes has raised the expectations for any beauty boxes quite high, but none the less, I have been rather surprised with the quality of this one. Seeing that the new one is coming on Saturday, I am trying to hurry up and to write a review about it.

So, as mentioned above, quality of this box is quite impressive. I like that all the samples are deluxe size, good brands and nice variety of the products.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find a pillow spray in this box, since it is not a product which would come to everyone's mind, and maybe not all of us know such a thing exist. As for its working properties, I am not that sure, since I only tried it once. It has quite strong lavender smell, which for me isn't an issue, but I do know quite a few people who don't like it at all. I am looking forward to trying this out properly.

I don't know if it is only me, but although I love shopping for beauty products, somehow shampoo and conditioner isn't on my priority list, and I tend to forget that I have run out of one, or assume I still have some, so I was very glad to find L'oreal professional shampoo and hair treatment in the box. I have been using this shampoo for quite a while now, and I can say my hair has gotten glossier and less tangly.

The third hair product was KMS California quick blow dry spray, which I am a bit conflicted with, since I almost never blow dry my hair, and would have preferred to find a hand cream or such in the box, but for each its own. I am not saying it is a bad product, I am just stating that I have no use for it.

I have been having my eye on Korres shower gel for quite a while, but never took a plunge in trying one, so I can't complain for it being in the box. I haven't got around to trying it out yet, but I am very curious.

Then there was two face products, one from Balance Me, and another one from Gatineau. I don't know about you, guys, but Gatineau face products are quite out of my price range, so this was a perfect opportunity to try it out and see what I think. I have only tried it on the back of my hand, but I will make sure to give it a proper go.

The Balance Me face cream is supposed to lift, firm and refine the skin, and by its consistency, I think I would give it a go as an eye cream. After I have gone through my other lotions and potions that is.

I do feel like for 15GBP its a very good value, you get decent deluxe size products, and an opportunity to try out various brands. The only comment I have,is that I would like an opportunity to have a continuous subscription for few months, so you don't need to stalk their site and miss the next month's box. I have sent them email about exact release dates, so as soon as I get an answer, I will make sure to update this post. What do you think? Do you have your favorite subscription box?
