Spring Empties

Good morning!

Long time no see, huh? I won’t go into details where I have been, but will just jump straight into a blog post. Empties are one of my favourite videos to watch, and sometimes, fall asleep to. We as bloggers, are obsessed about new products, innovative brands, interesting products, and sometimes your initial like for a product doesn’t last, or vice versa, so empties are very good way to express your opinion on the product since you went through whole bottle. Also my bin was overflowing in the bathroom, so an empties post is very well due. I will try something a little different this time and will leave Teapots above each product if you want to skim read, 5 being I adore it, give me more, 3 – meh, 1 – what is this s**t?

Disclaimer: since these are literally trash, I didn’t put much effort into photographing them, since they are going straight to the bin anyway.

Bodycare:

*****

I went through three bottles of Vichy deodorant, and about to finish the forth bottle, it is the only deodorant I have found that works. I am testing a natural one at the moment as well, so we will see, but I will definitely repurchase it just to have as a backup.

*****

Ikona hand cream – must be the only hand cream I have used up until the last drop. I have a review here, so I won’t repeat myself, and although I have a plethora of hand creams, I will grab one just so I can have it in my stash.

Haircare:

*****

Colab Dry shampoo Unicorn – I am very sorry for my Lithuanian readers, you can’t get this in our country, so I stock up when over, or make Stumble Puppy to bring me some. I really like it, they have a wide variety of scents and they work amazing, I can extend my hair wash for one or two more days, which is amazing since I have very fine and flat hair, prone to oiliness.

***

Glisskur Million Gloss Hair Mask – meh. I did use it up, mostly mixing a colourful balm into the tub in attempt to try to keep my colour longer, but it is nothing to write home about. Won’t be repurchasing.

****

Pantene Foaming conditioner: lively colour & aqua light. Those are rather decent foaming conditioners for when you are in a hurry. It comes out the bottle as foam, you rub it in your hair, leave for a minute or so, and rinse. Definitely will repurchase, but will wait until they are on offer.

****

Tigi Antidote Conditioner – I have used up this one quite a while ago, so my memories on it are a little bit faded. From what I remember, I did enjoy it while it was lasting. I would buy from this brand again, but maybe will try something different from the brand once I reduced my current haircare stash.

****

Loreal Oil Magique – it was a decent, hydrating mask, which left my hair shiny, and although it weighs them a little bit down, I quite enjoyed it. I don’t think I would repurchase though, because I want to explore other things. Unless I get frustrated with new items, then I would pick this one up out of despair.

*****

Loreal Botanicals Saffron hair mask – I loved it! Once my stash is down to acceptable number of haircare products, I will pick it up again. It smells amazing, it makes my hair shiny and it helps to control little frizzy flyouts.

Skincare:

*****

Rasa (lithuanian brand) micellar water – this is probably the first micellar water I have used until the last drop. It had very gentle, a little bit minty scented, it melted and took makeup of wonderfully, without leaving a trace. I would repurchase, but they are in the process of changing the branding, so I might just wait for new packaging.

Random:

*****

Zoella reed diffuser – it lasted me about three months, scent throw was gentle, but wide, and it smelt like a sweet cookie, what's not to love. Would buy again, but in a different scent, since this was limited edition, if I can find it next time I am in UK.

*****

Loccitane pillow spray – I love this stuff! I sometimes suffer with insomnia, so I spray my bed sheets with this spray and sometimes it does help me to relax, wind down and fall to sleep. I will for sure repurchase it.

*****

Essence brush soap – the only right way to cleanse your brushes. It is convenient, it takes couple of seconds, and you are all good to go. No, the normal bar of soap doesn’t do the same job, I tried. I would repurchase, except it seems to have been limited edition item and I can’t find it anywhere. If I do, I am buying 3.

So those were my empties for the last couple of months. What did you use up recently? Do let me know!
